Shrewsbury Town 1-4 West Bromwich Albion: Whitwell, Morgan brace and Heggebø seal dominant pre-season win

West Bromwich Albion made it two 4-1 wins from two pre-season friendlies on Saturday, overpowering League Two Shrewsbury Town at Croud Meadow with goals from academy graduate Harry Whitwell, a Jimmy-Jay Morgan brace and a Aune Heggebø header.

James Morrison's side were 3-1 up by half-time and never looked back in front of more than 3,280 travelling supporters, continuing the encouraging form they showed in a 4-1 win over Bromley during their Portugal training camp earlier in July.
