Lhoták Opens, Jiránek Strikes Just Before the Second Intermission
{{homeTeam}} came out aggressive and got rewarded on a 5th-minute power play through Lukáš Lhoták (Čachotský, Strejček) — 1:0. The middle frame was scoreless, but four seconds before the second intermission Tomáš Jiránek beat Pavel Čajan from a Pořízek feed — 2:0. {{awayTeam}} entered the third period chasing for the first time in the series.
Kuprijanov Adds Insurance, Litvínov Comes Back
In the 44th minute Ilarion Kuprijanov scored on the power play from Harkabus to make it 3:0 — and the Horácká aréna found its voice. {{awayTeam}} pushed back: in the 53rd Theodor Pištěk converted a Gut feed for 1:3, and 45 seconds later defenceman Ondřej Baláž — Game 1's overtime hero — pulled within one (assists Koblasa, Zygmunt).
Čachotský Seals It with Empty-Netter
Litvínov pulled the goalie and the visitors pressed for the equaliser, but in the 59th captain Tomáš Čachotský found the empty net on a 6-on-4 power play to cap the score 4:2. Beran and Dukla's structure absorbed the late charge for the series's first home win.
What It Means
{{homeTeam}} stayed alive and cut the series to 1:3. {{awayTeam}} carries a second match-point home to a sold-out Litvínov for Game 5 on April 25, knowing the series is not over yet. Dukla's path to promotion still requires three straight wins — but for one night, the dream lived on.
