HC Oceláři Třinec are alive in the Czech Extraliga Final. The home side staged a stunning rally from 1-4 down to defeat HC Dynamo Pardubice 5-4 in overtime in Game 3, cutting the series deficit to 1-2. Slovak forward Marko Daňo completed the comeback with his first playoff goal at 75:51.

Pardubice Build a 4-1 Lead
Třinec opened the scoring through Nestrašil at 9:00, but Pardubice answered emphatically. Kondelík tied it at 6:00, Sedlák put the visitors ahead at 16:00, and Čerešňák made it 1-3 at 22:00. Ludvig scored at 27:00 for 1-4, and the series looked headed for 0-3.
Hudáček, Kundrátek Bring Třinec Back
Libor Hudáček cut the lead to 2-4 at 34:00. Tomáš Kundrátek made it 3-4 at 57:00, and the Werk Arena crowd roared back to life.
Nestrašil Equalises Late
With 109 seconds remaining in regulation, Andrej Nestrašil tied it 4-4 — his second of the night and third point. The arena erupted.
Daňo Wins It in Overtime
At 75:51, Marko Daňo took a feed from Adámek and Hudáček and beat Roman Will to seal the win. It was the Slovak's first playoff goal of the postseason — and the most timely Třinec could have asked for.
What It Means
Třinec cut the series deficit to 1-2 and head into Game 4 at home on April 23 with a chance to even the Final. Coach Boris Žabka praised his team's energy, particularly in overtime, where {{homeTeam}} dominated 53-40 in shots on goal.
