Červenka's OT Winner Crowns Pardubice Champions After 14-Year Drought

HC Dynamo Pardubice won the 2025/26 Czech Tipsport Extraliga championship, defeating HC Oceláři Třinec 5-4 in overtime in Game 6 of the Final at Werk Arena. Captain Roman Červenka's second goal of the night, at 60:57 of overtime, ended a 14-year title drought.

Sikora Strikes First, Pardubice Surges Ahead

Trinec opened the scoring three minutes in through Sikora, but Pardubice answered with two quick goals from Fejes and Tourigny to lead 2-1 after the first.

Second Period Sees Five Goals

Nestrašil tied it for {{homeTeam}} early in the second, before Kundrátek pushed Třinec ahead 3-2 at the 31-minute mark. Červenka, the Pardubice captain, equalised seconds later with his first of the night.

Third Period and OT Decide the Championship

Mandát made it 3-4 for Pardubice at 43:00, and {{awayTeam}} appeared on course for a regulation win. Flynn levelled it at 52:00 to send the game to overtime. Just under a minute into the extra frame, Červenka pounced on a feed from Lukáš Sedlák and fired past Kacetl to seal the championship.

Pardubice's first Extraliga title in 14 years caps a dominant playoff run. Třinec, who had won six titles in the past decade, fell short of a seventh. Captain Roman Červenka — at 40, one of the most decorated Czech players of his generation — adds a domestic title to his trophy cabinet at long last.
