Poehling: "I Had to See White Between the Puck and the Line"
Three minutes into the extra frame, Mason McTavish fed Poehling, who jammed the puck home from behind the net. After a lengthy video review, officials confirmed the goal. "I had to see white between the puck and the goal line when I was behind the net. Then everyone started celebrating," Poehling said. Edmonton coach Kris Knoblauch disagreed: "I didn't see the puck cross the goal line. It was very close."
