The Nadstavba o Extraligu brings together the four non-playoff Extraliga teams — Hluboká, Třebíč, Arrows Ostrava and SaBaT Praha — plus two top teams from the 1. Liga (Technika Brno and Tempo Praha). All six play each other three times, with the top four earning Extraliga spots for the 2027 season.

Hluboká entered the round having finished 6th in the regular season (16-19), while Třebíč placed 5th (18-17). The Sokol finished just one game behind fourth-placed Eagles Praha, who claimed the final playoff berth. After splitting the first three meetings of the weekend series (losing Friday, winning Saturday and Sunday), Hluboká sit on two wins from three Nadstavba games.
