Jerming Rosario extended his scoreless appearance streak to 13 games, firing 2.0 innings with one hit and one strikeout. Since 7 July, Rosario has thrown 16.1 consecutive scoreless frames, tied for the longest active streak in the PCL.

Jackson Nezuh (L, 1-1) took the loss for Sugar Land, allowing three runs across 5.0 innings.

A clinical, professional road win built on Ferris's resilience in the fifth and a defence that turned four double plays. Sugar Land's inability to capitalise with the bases loaded proved decisive, and the Comets' bullpen closed the door emphatically. Sunday's finale now carries real weight: a win gives OKC a split on the road against the division leaders; a loss leaves Sugar Land firmly in control of the second-half race.
