KIA Tigers vs Doosan Bears

Kim Do-young crushed his 35th home run of the season in the 4th inning, a solo shot that extended the lead to 4-1. Castro contributed three hits and an RBI from the heart of the order, while Ha Ju-seok added two hits. KIA finished with nine hits against Doosan pitching.

Park Jae-hyun's two-run double in the 2nd inning — the moment KIA turned a 1-1 tie into a 3-1 lead — was the decisive sequence. Doosan's starter Choi Seung-yong never recovered, and the Bears' offence, having scored their only run in the 1st, was held scoreless over the final eight innings.
