The Mud Hens' three hits generated four runs — a 1.33 runs-per-hit rate that reflects two clutch swings in the sixth and eighth. Anderson's homer accounted for three of those runs on one swing. A game that belonged to Louisville's pitching for five innings was stolen by one swing from Anderson. The Bats' inability to add insurance runs after their four-run fourth proved costly against a Toledo side that made three hits count for more than Louisville's seven.
