Bosnia started strongly on home court, with naturalised centre Luka Garza leading the charge. Cedi Osman (Turkey) — 15 points, 11 rebounds. The veteran forward delivered his second double-double of the qualifying campaign, contributing on both ends. His composure in the fourth quarter was critical as Turkey closed out the win on the road.

Luka Garza (Bosnia & Herzegovina) — 27 points (game high). The Iowa-born centre was the standout performer for the hosts. His inside scoring kept Bosnia competitive for three quarters, but Turkey's defence limited his touches in the fourth.

Alperen Sengun (Turkey) — 14 points. The Houston Rockets big man provided a scoring option inside and drew fouls, helping Turkey reach the bonus early in the final period.

Kanan Sipahi (Turkey) — Critical three-point shooting in the second half. The guard's long-range accuracy stretched Bosnia's defence and created driving lanes.

The 82-75 final scoreline slightly understates Turkey's dominance after half-time. They led by as many as 13 in the third quarter before Bosnia's late mini-surge narrowed the gap. Turkey's offensive efficiency improved markedly after the break, while Bosnia's scoring dried up — Garza's 27 points accounted for 36% of the home side's total, exposing a lack of secondary scoring.

Turkey remain in contention for Second Round qualification from Group G of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers. For Bosnia, the defeat leaves them with work to do in the remaining first-round fixtures. Both teams will return to action in the next international window, with Second Round places still to be settled.
