A routine pre-season win for Akhmat. Melkadze's double was the headline, but the clean sheet and the sharpness of the performance — particularly in the first half — will be the real takeaway for Cherchesov. The RPL opener at Lokomotiv on 26 July will be a far sterner test of where this squad actually stands.
