Zaglebie Lubin vs Bohemians 1905

Almási's 45th-minute header was the decisive blow. Zagłębie Lubin, who had created several half-chances through Michalis Kosidis and Damian Michalski in the first period, went into the interval two goals down after a first half in which they had competed reasonably well. The quick double punch — two goals in the final seven minutes of the half — effectively killed the contest before the second period began.

Vojtěch Smrž — Scored the opener and was a constant presence in midfield, linking defence and attack efficiently for Bohemians.

Ladislav Almási — The striker's header just before the break showcased his aerial threat. He led the line well throughout his 88 minutes on the pitch.

Milan Havel — Wearing the captain's armband, the defender was a key figure at both ends, setting up the opening goal and making several important defensive interventions early in the match.

Tomas Frühwald — The Slovak goalkeeper in Bohemians' colours was largely untroubled in the second half but made a comfortable save from Michalski's header and dealt confidently with everything Zagłębie threw at him.

Bohemians' 0-2 victory was built on a clinical first-half counter-attacking display. The visitors had two shots on target in the first period — both found the net, a 100% conversion rate in the opening 45 minutes. Zagłębie Lubin, by contrast, created several openings — Kosidis had a header ruled out for offside, Michalski had a penalty shout waved away, and Orlikowski made a vital block on Václav Pilař's volley — but failed to convert any of their chances before the break. The second half was a scrappier affair with few clear-cut opportunities at either end.

For Bohemians 1905, this was their second pre-season victory and a strong finish to their Poland training camp. The Prague side will return home on Saturday before opening their 2026/27 Chance Liga campaign at FK Teplice on 25 July 2026.

For Zagłębie Lubin, this was the penultimate friendly of their pre-season under coach Leszek Ojrzyński. They face Chrobry Głogów on 18 July in their final test, before beginning the new Ekstraklasa season against Piast Gliwice on 27 July 2026.

A professionally managed pre-season win for Bohemians. The two first-half goals — one a scrappy close-range finish, the other a well-executed header — were enough to see off a Zagłębie side that had plenty of possession but lacked sharpness in the final third. The Czech side's defensive organisation, led by Havel and Sakala, gave the Polish outfit little encouragement after the break.
