Radcliffe vs Shrewsbury

A scoreless stalemate that told us little about Shrewsbury's competitive prospects but plenty about Cowan's approach: build fitness, build culture, and treat results as secondary. The new-look squad — featuring debutant Proctor and a mix of academy prospects — showed flashes but lacked sharpness in the final third, which is to be expected in mid-July. Radcliffe were organised and competitive, exactly as Cowan anticipated.
