BFC Dynamo vs BAK '07

The 2-0 scoreline undersells BFC Dynamo's territorial control against a BAK '07 side that rarely threatened. This was BFC Dynamo's third consecutive pre-season clean sheet, following a 0-0 draw against Hertha 03 Zehlendorf (11 July) and other friendlies in the build-up. The match was played at Sportforum Rasenplatz NR2 (capacity ~1,000) in front of a modest crowd.

This was BFC Dynamo's final pre-season friendly before the 2026-27 Regionalliga Nordost campaign. They travel to Rot-Weiß Erfurt on Friday 24 July (19:00 kick-off) for the opening league fixture — a match that will carry very different intensity to this low-key friendly. BFC Dynamo's home league opener follows on 2 August against BSG Chemie Leipzig, and on 5 August they face Erzgebirge Aue away.

BAK '07 used the friendly as preparation for the NOFV-Oberliga Nord season, which kicks off later in the summer. The side from Berlin's Poststadion will have benefited from the minutes against a higher-level opponent but will need more attacking thrust to compete in their league campaign.

A professional and controlled pre-season win for BFC Dynamo that achieved all its objectives: minutes in legs, a clean sheet, and no injuries. Dadashov's early return from surgery adds firepower for the Regionalliga Nordost opener at Erfurt. The real test, however, begins on 24 July.
