Southport, who opened their pre-season with a 1-1 draw at Atherton Laburnum Rovers, host FC United of Manchester on Friday 24 July (7:45pm) and Wigan Athletic before their National League North campaign begins at Hebburn Town on 8 August.

A productive afternoon for Fleetwood that served its purpose. Two different line-ups, two goals, no injuries of concern beyond Lane's precautionary withdrawal, and another clean sheet. The step up to Huddersfield on Tuesday will tell Lawlor more about where his squad actually stands.
