Young Boys II vs Solothurn

For Solothurn, the draw was enough to qualify for the Seelandcup third-place match on 23 July, where they defeated FC Breitenrain 3-2 (goals from Djaoudi and Emmanuel Mast x2). Solothurn continue their pre-season programme with a home friendly against FC Luzern U-21 on 25 July, followed by the start of the 2026/27 1. Liga Classic season.

Young Boys II, playing in the Promotion League (Swiss third tier), used the tournament as preparation for their own league campaign. The draw kept them unbeaten in the Seelandcup group stage.
