Juventus Next Gen's second-half XI found the equaliser six minutes after the restart. Cat Berro (Juventus Next Gen) — The third-choice Juventus goalkeeper came on in the 80th minute and produced the save of the match in stoppage time, denying Loyola's close-range header from point-blank range.

The match was a typical pre-season friendly in structure: both managers used the fixture primarily for fitness minutes, with 11 Juventus players and nine Pisa outfield players replaced at half-time. The 1-1 scoreline reflected the pattern — Pisa dominated the first half and could have led by more than one, while Juventus controlled large spells of the second period after the equaliser. Both sides created three clear chances apiece, with the difference being finishing quality in key moments.

For Juventus Next Gen, this was their first pre-season outing of the 2026/27 campaign under Massimo Brambilla. The Serie C side face Vado in another friendly at the Allianz Training Center in Vinovo on 31 July 2026.

Pisa continued their pre-season preparations under Paolo Bianco, who tested a 4-3-3 system after last season's defensive approach. The Serie B side have one more friendly scheduled before their competitive season begins.

A fair result in a pre-season contest that served its purpose for both sides. Pisa will rue Meister's first-half miss from four yards out, while Juventus Next Gen will take encouragement from Keutgen's equaliser after a complete tactical reset at half-time. The fitness minutes were the real winner.
