Puszcza's best chance arrived in the 60th minute — a goalmouth scramble from a corner that left Górnik's defence exposed. Bruno Durdov — The new Croatian winger scored on his unofficial debut, finishing decisively from Ismaheel's cross. His pace on the right flank caused Puszcza problems throughout the first period.

Tomasz Loska — The back-up goalkeeper entered in the second XI and made the match's defining save, keeping out the Puszcza corner scramble in the 60th minute.

This was the first friendly of Górnik Zabrze's pre-season ahead of the 2026/27 Ekstraklasa campaign, which kicks off in mid-July. Urban used the game to test combinations involving five new or returning players in the starting XI. Puszcza Niepołomice also used the fixture to build fitness and evaluate trialists — Dominik Skiba appeared for the visitors in the second period as he vies for a contract.

Górnik's next pre-season fixture has not been officially confirmed at the time of writing. Puszcza continue their own preparation schedule ahead of the new season.

A productive first runout for Górnik, with new signings Durdov and Synoś making positive early impressions and Ambros reminding everyone of his set-piece quality. Pre-season results carry little weight, but the manner — three goals, no injuries, a clean sheet — was exactly what Urban would have wanted from the first 100 minutes of the build-up.
