St. Tönis struggled to create any meaningful chances against a Fortuna defence featuring debutant Rieß in goal.

Liga season following relegation from the 2. Bundesliga in May. Next up is a third friendly at VfL Benrath on Thursday (9 July, 19:00), before the team heads to a training camp in Bad Leonfelden, Upper Austria. New signing Yassine Bouchama made his first appearance for the club in the second half.
