Slavia Praha vs Ružomberok

Youssoupha Sanyang — introduced for W. Nowak at half-time (58'), the Senegalese winger scored Slavia's third and looked lively on the flank, providing a constant outlet on the right side.

Tomáš Jelínek — the substitute came on at 73 minutes and registered the assist for Sanyang's goal ten minutes later, a well-weighted pass that cut through the Ružomberok defence.

The 3-0 scoreline and 0-0 half-time reflect a controlled second-half performance rather than dominance from the start. Slavia's 11 substitutions overall (5 for Slavia, 6 for Ružomberok) underline the experimental nature of the friendly, with both managers prioritising minutes across the squad. Slavia Praha completed their pre-season camp in Austria with a convincing win. The Czech champions are preparing for the 2026-27 Czech First League season, which kicks off in late July. Their next fixture in the schedule is a league match against FC Slovácko at Fortuna Arena on 25 July 2026.

MFK Ružomberok suffered their third defeat in four pre-season friendlies this summer, following losses to Sigma Olomouc (1-0) and a draw with Zvolen (3-3). The Slovak side face Fortuna Düsseldorf next in another friendly before the Niké Liga season begins. The pre-season schedule has been challenging, with matches against Czech and German opposition designed to test the squad ahead of competitive action.

A routine pre-season win for Slavia Praha, who clicked into gear after a quiet first half. The quality gap between the Czech First League side and their Slovak opponents told in the second period. Ružomberok will take some positives from a disciplined first-half display but need to sharpen up in the final third before the season starts.
