Rapperswil started with clear intent. Padula opened the scoring in the 6th minute, capitalising on early pressure to give the hosts the lead. Davide Muzzi doubled the advantage in the 21st minute, finishing a well-worked move to put Rapperswil 2-0 up at the break.
