Siarka coach Sławomir Majak acknowledged the pattern. "We led 3-1 and it's a shame that — just like in the spring round — we couldn't hold onto a favourable result," he told NadWisłą24.pl after the match. "That's something we need to work on."

Nikodem Kuzera (Resovia Rzeszów) — Two goals in a five-minute spell (65', 70') that single-handedly dragged Resovia back into the match. His movement off the shoulder of Siarka's defenders caused chaos after the hour mark.

They have one more friendly — against Igloopol Dębica — before their league opener away at Hetman Zamość on 2 August 2026.

Resovia, who play in II liga, ended their pre-season programme with this match. They begin their competitive season on 24 July 2026 away at Znicz Pruszków.

Majak also confirmed Siarka remain active in the transfer market. "We're still looking for players in three positions: a goalkeeper, a centre-back and a central midfielder," he said. "We're hoping that players from higher leagues will become available once their clubs close their squads."

Resovia coach Kamil Kuzera was measured in his assessment: "This was a match with interruptions, but that's down to the stage of pre-season. We've closed our friendly period and are entering match week, while Siarka are still in heavy training. Despite that, we saw several really nice moves and goals — it was a valuable friendly for both teams."

A genuinely entertaining pre-season friendly in which the scoreline told the story: Siarka's bright start and 3-1 lead gave way to a five-minute Resovia blitz that exposed the gap between the divisions. For Majak, the defensive fragility will be a concern with two weeks until the league starts. For Kuzera, the comeback provided a sharp final test before competitive football begins on 24 July.
