Paris 13 Atletico emerged with more purpose after the interval. Goalkeeper Fei-Hong Faham produced a reflex save from point-blank range in the 59th minute to keep the score level — a moment that proved pivotal.

Shortly after a wholesale substitution reshaped the Orléans side, the breakthrough arrived. Khous, playing as captain in the second half, threaded a perfectly weighted pass into the path of Prunier, who finished calmly to put the home side ahead.

Paris 13 pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages, but substitute goalkeeper Stéphan Moussima made several reassuring interventions and Orléans held firm to preserve a third clean sheet in four pre-season matches.

Faham's reflex save in the 59th minute kept Orléans level and prevented Paris 13 from taking a lead they might have defended. Within eight minutes, Della Maggiore's reshuffled side had scored and the game's dynamic was transformed.

Mondy Prunier (Orléans) — The Haitian international scored his first goal for the club since arriving from Belgium. His movement off the shoulder of the last defender and composed finish showed exactly why Orléans moved for him this summer.

Fei-Hong Faham (Orléans) — The keeper played the first 60 minutes and made the game's most important save, a reflex stop at 0-0 that kept Paris 13 at bay.

Guillaume Khous (Orléans) — Introduced at half-time as captain, Khous dictated play from midfield and supplied the assist for the winning goal.

Orléans controlled possession for long stretches but lacked incision in the final third until the substitutions. The first hour produced several half-chances — Legendre's 27th-minute wide effort, Seydi's 40th-minute strike saved — but the expected goals tally likely remained low for both sides in a half defined by defensive organisation rather than open play. The decisive moment came from a single well-worked move: Khous's through ball and Prunier's finish, a combination that Della Maggiore's staff had been building towards in training.

Defensively, the numbers speak clearly. Orléans have conceded just one goal across four pre-season friendlies, a marker Della Maggiore identified as a priority after last season's defensive record.

This was Orléans' fourth pre-season friendly and their second victory (following a 3-1 win over Nancy and a 0-0 draw with Saint-Pryvé Saint-Hilaire on 15 July). The National season — France's third tier — begins on 7 August 2026.

Orléans travel to face Red Star FC on Tuesday 21 July (behind closed doors) for their fifth pre-season fixture, before rounding out their programme against AJ Auxerre on 31 July.

Paris 13 Atletico, who compete in the same division, continue their own preparations with a match against Red Star on 21 July.

A controlled, professional pre-season display from Orléans, who have built defensive solidity as their early foundation. The attack is still a work in progress, but Prunier's first goal is an encouraging sign. Paris 13 Atletico will take heart from their competitive first hour but will need more cutting edge in the final third before the season starts.
