A competitive but inconclusive pre-season friendly that served its purpose for both sides. Yildirim's goal was a positive individual note for Göztepe, but the inability to hold the lead against a Rudes side that had lost 5-0 to Shakhtar a week earlier suggests work remains ahead of the Süper Lig season.
