Spain delivered a statement performance that went beyond the scoreline. This was a controlled demolition against a Germany side that could not live with their intensity, movement, or finishing. Four different scorers, three assists from full-back, and a defence that still hasn't conceded — Gallardo's team are the side to beat. Germany have the firepower to trouble opponents but the semi-finals will punish their defensive fragility as Spain already did.
