Ikast's 6-1 burst between the 39th and 44th minutes was the hammer blow. The visitors scored four goals in a devastating 52-second span — from 43:06 to 43:58 — turning a 17-14 lead into a 22-15 advantage. Nordvestjysk's defence lost its shape entirely during that stretch, conceding three fast-break goals and one from the line.

Ikast's second-half intensity, sharp finishing (72.5% shot accuracy) and devastating counter-attacking proved too much for a Nordvestjysk side that fought in patches but made too many technical errors.
