Salavat Ufa vs Khabarovsk

Amur's discipline in closing out tight games, by contrast, was the hallmark of their tournament: they led Barys 3-1 after two periods two days earlier and held that lead comfortably.

Amur Khabarovsk finish the Fonbet Cup of the Republic of Bashkortostan with a 2-0 record (5-1 vs Barys on 18 Aug, 3-2 vs Salavat) and lift the trophy on Ufa ice. Salavat finish 0-2 in their own tournament after also losing 3-6 to Lada on 18 August (Lada later lost 1-2 to Barys in the other 20 Aug fixture).

For Amur, the two wins build pre-season momentum ahead of the 2026/27 KHL campaign. For Salavat, head coach Viktor Kozlov will want to see sharper defending — 9 goals conceded across two home games is a clear area for improvement before the regular season begins.

A deserved tournament win for Amur, who showed composure to erase an early home crowd and strike when it mattered. Salavat competed in stretches but their defensive fragility and inability to hold a lead proved costly twice in three days.
