This was the second pre-season test for both Czech clubs. Havlickuv Brod — coached by new boss David Dolníček — followed up an impressive 7-4 win over Žďár nad Sázavou on 13 August with another positive result. Znojmo, under Milan Procházka, showed competitive form in their first pre-season outing and will look to build on their strong underlying play when they continue their preparation.

Havlickuv Brod next face Písek at home on 20 August. Znojmo's next pre-season fixture has not been confirmed at the time of writing.
