Bremerhaven vs Mountfield HK

For Mountfield HK, the defeat ends a perfect 6–0 pre-season run that included wins over Jihlava (3–0), Olomouc (3–2), Salzburg (2–1 SO), Liberec (6–4), Graz 99ers (6–1) and Crimmitschau. Bremerhaven, who compete in the DEL and reached both the CHL and DEL playoff quarter-finals last season, take a step forward in their pre-season build-up.

A tightly contested semi-final decided by fine margins. Mountfield HK looked composed for 50 minutes behind Vomáčka's goaltending, but Bremerhaven's third-period push was relentless.
