Panthers controlled the opening exchanges. Zach O'Brien tested Amiens' defence inside the first minute, and Matt Alfaro went close before the breakthrough arrived at 11:03. Tim Doherty — Opened the scoring with a composed finish from the slot and turned provider for Pearson's PPG. Instrumental in the middle of the ice throughout.

Chase Pearson — One powerplay goal and one assist. His doorstep finish at 37:34 was the game's most important goal, and his feed to Naas for the fourth showed excellent vision.

Mat Robson / Kai Edmonds — Robson made several close-range saves through two periods, including a sharp double-stop. Edmonds denied Djemel early in the third and looked solid in relief.
