First Period — Topping opens scoring, Brandt answers late on PP

The Tigers controlled the opening frame territorially, outshooting Linz and creating several quality chances. Filip Varejcka tested Dylan Wells from the slot at 13', Alex Green hit the post, and Stefan Loibl was denied from close range. Overtime — Shaw wins it on the counter

At 61:11, Straubing lost the puck while pressing forward. Philipp Wimmer and Brady Shaw transitioned on a 2-on-1, and Shaw finished past Bugl for the winner.
