Volleyball is a major sport in Argentina, with a proud tradition of success at the highest international level. The Liga Women features 35 clubs across 3 competitions.

Argentina's men's national team has won World Championship and Olympic medals, establishing the country as one of the leading volleyball nations in South America and the world.

Volleyball arrived in Argentina in the 1920s and grew rapidly. The Argentine Volleyball Federation was founded in 1946. Argentina became a serious international contender in the 1980s.

The men's team won World Championship bronze in 1982 and Olympic bronze at Seoul 1988. After a period of rebuilding, Argentina returned to the podium with World Championship bronze in 2002 and Olympic bronze at Tokyo 2020, confirming the country's enduring volleyball tradition.

The Argentine Volleyball Federation (Federacion del Voleibol Argentino, FeVA) governs volleyball in Argentina. Founded in 1946, it is a member of the South American Volleyball Confederation (CSV) and FIVB.

The Liga Argentina de Voleibol is the top division of men's volleyball in Argentina. The Copa Argentina provides knockout competition. The league has been a breeding ground for talent that feeds the successful national team.

Argentina has won two World Championship bronze medals (1982, 2002) and two Olympic bronze medals (1988, 2020). The men's national team has also won the South American Championship multiple times, establishing Argentina as a consistent force in international volleyball.
