Uganda top Pool B with 6 points from two matches, tied on maximum points alongside Egypt, who have played one fewer fixture. The two sides meet at Kasarani Indoor Arena on Thursday (27 August) in a match that will likely decide top spot in the group.

For Burkina Faso, the loss leaves them bottom of Pool B without a point. They face Senegal on Thursday in a match that will determine who finishes third in the group and earns a more favourable path in the knockout rounds.

The overall champion of the 2026 CAVB Women's African Nations Championship qualifies directly for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The top three finishers also secure places at the 2027 FIVB Volleyball World Cup, to be jointly hosted by the United States and Canada.
