First Inning — Díaz strikes early

Fifth Inning — Blue Jays fight back

Toronto refused to fold. Charles McAdoo singled in a run, Nathan Lukes lifted a sacrifice fly, Kirk added an RBI single, and Kazuma Okamoto delivered an RBI single — four runs on five hits off Rasmussen, cutting the deficit to 7-5.

Sixth Inning — One more run

McAdoo struck again with an RBI double off reliever Kevin Kelly, scoring Orelvis Martínez and pulling the Blue Jays within 7-6.

Seventh, Eighth and Ninth — Baker slams the door

• Bryan Baker (TB): 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 SO — his 36th save and 25th straight successful save opportunity converted.

Player of the Match: Yandy Díaz — his early home run set the tone and etched his name deeper into Rays franchise history.

The Rays' 7-6 win came despite being out-hit 9-8 and committing the game's only error. Tampa Bay's four hits with runners in scoring position — five of which came in the fourth inning alone — proved decisive. Toronto left seven runners on base, while the Rays stranded four.
