For Chemnitz (Chemnitz Crashers), it was a game of two halves: a superb opening nine minutes undone by an inability to manage the game once Ústí found their rhythm. They next host Ústí in the return friendly on 5 September at 18:30 local time, followed by a meeting with ESC Hassfurt Hawks on 12 September.
